Radius VSM can scale up or down to provide nearly comprehensive—or minimal —patient monitoring, enabling clinicians to monitor each patient based on their unique needs at every stage of their hospital stay.

  • Clinically proven Masimo SET® pulse oximetry

    Clinically proven Masimo SET® pulse oximetry includes oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), perfusion index (Pi), pleth variability index (PVi®), and plethysmographic respiration rate (RRp®).

  • Multiple respiration rate measurements

    Respiration rate measurements include measurement from the pleth (RRp®), from the sound of breathing (RRa®), and from impedance.

  • Measure-on-inflation noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP)

    Measure-on-inflation noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) features
    single-patient-use cuffs and automatic intervals, reducing the need
    for periodic manual measurement.

  • Radius Tº® continuous skin temperature measurements

    Radius Tº provides continuous skin temperature measurements, with notifications when clinician-specified temperature thresholds are breached.

  • Centroid® patient position monitoring

    Centroid patient orientation, position, and activity monitoring alerts clinicians to unsupervised patient movement and possible patient falls, as well as preventable pressure injuries.

  • Electrocardiography (ECG)

    Continuous 6-waveform ECG monitoring (I, II, III, aVR, aVL, and aVF) includes heart rate, respiration rate, and lethal arrhythmia detection, using single-patient-use, easy-to-apply pre-connected 3-electrode leadwire.

  • rainbow Acoustic Monitoring®

    rainbow Acoustic Monitoring detects the acoustic signals produced by airflow in the upper airway and converts them into respiration rate as both a numeric value and a waveform.
