Radius VSM is a patient-worn vital signs monitor featuring a wide range of physiological measurements. Designed on a modular platform, Radius VSM combines the reliability and accuracy of a bedside monitor with the comfort and freedom of a wearable device that encourages ambulation and movement while ensuring a patient remains continuously monitored without interruption.

Suitable for use across the continuum of care, Radius VSM offers advanced flexibility and is easily scalable to accommodate surges in patient volume and each patient's level of acuity.

Clinically proven Masimo SET^® Measure-through Motion and Low Perfusion™ pulse oximetry, including oxygen saturation (SpO₂), pulse rate (PR), perfusion index (Pi), PVi^® fluid responsiveness, and RRp^® plethysmographic respiration rate
An aggregate respiration rate measurement derived from as many respiration rate methods as are currently connected to Radius VSM, including measurement from the pleth, from the sound of breathing, from impedance, and from chest wall movement
Measure-on-inflation noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) featuring single-patient-use cuffs, customisable scheduling (which reduces the need for periodic manual clinician measurement), and variable inflation speeds
Continuous body temperature measurements with notifications when clinician-specified temperature thresholds are breached
Patient orientation, position, and activity monitoring, alerting clinicians to unsupervised patient movement and detecting patient falls, as well as preventable pressure injuries, with the additional ability to display respiration rate based on chest wall movement
Electrocardiography (ECG) with heart rate, respiration rate, and advanced lethal arrhythmia detection using 3-leadwire single-patient-use electrodes offering 6 ECG waveforms: I, II, III, aVR, aVL, and aVF
RRa^® continuous acoustic respiration rate monitoring using rainbow Acoustic Monitoring^®, which converts the acoustic patterns caused by the patient's airflow into breath cycles to calculate respiration rate and visualise an acoustic respiration waveform

Radius VSM is built on a modular, wearable platform that allows providers to equip any bed with comprehensive monitoring. Components can be quickly added or removed depending on each patient’s monitoring needs. Without additional bedside equipment, network infrastructure, or tethered connections, Radius VSM is integrates a variety of technologies, modules, and noninvasive sensors.

Rest Without Distraction

With continuous vital signs monitoring and automatic interval blood pressure measurements, Radius VSM encourages patients to rest comfortably without the disruption of periodic manual measurements.

Information on the Go

Radius VSM provides waveform and parameter trend data on its built-in multi-touch LED display, allowing clinicians to stay informed about patient status while moving about with the patient.

Streamlining Workflows

When integrated into the Masimo Hospital Automation™ platform, Radius VSM helps simplify clinical workflows by automating patient data transfer to centralized supplemental monitoring systems and documentation in electronic medical records (EMRs).

Connectivity and Data Integration

Radius VSM can operate as a self-contained device or connect wirelessly to Masimo bedside monitors and patient surveillance systems for flexible use in a variety of scenarios.
